The nature around us as been changing quite drastically, in a negative way. Rapid glacier melting, mega-drought, deforestation, worsen floods and countless of other natural disasters, which eventually led to war, poverty, and the unprecedented challenge of keeping our homes. We also losing so many other species in a unbelievably fast pace - we are experiencing the 6th mass extinction that’s 100 times faster than million years ago.

Human is the major root cause of all of these misfortune; we overly consume and exploit the world around us, without thinking about actions consciously. For example, a basic T-shirt utilizes 2720 liters of water from plantation to production, enough to feed one person for 3 entire years!

This is why Change Into Change was established. In the magic world of Change Into Change, my patent and creation divides a T-shirt into two parts: the body of the T-shirt, and the detachable graphic patches, the main body of the T-shirt is made of cotton or Tencel, both are eco-friendly and sustainable. The patch is made of cotton or recycled polyester, which mostly comes from used bottles. The digital printed graphic patches highlight key themes such as biodiversity and sustainability, and can be mixed & matched with the body so that you could own multiple new clothes without incurring additional waste. This invention will not only save our natural resources, but also spark your creativity and design thinking. 

We have seen so much chaos in the past few years, and as global citizens, each of us should take responsibility to drive for positive impact. I hope this simple T-shirt is not just about the simple pleasure of mix & match, but more about encouraging people to make environmental-conscious decisions, and work together for a more sustainable and peaceful world.
